The Wig

I don’t know what it is about this wig, but every time within the past week that I started wearing it, I’ve been getting all kinds of attention. This all happened the middle of November, by the way.

The first day I wore it was on Wednesday, but I was too ashamed to leave my hall after getting lunch because I was worried it would be too obvious and attract too many judging eyes. I retreated to my room and decided to try again on Thursday.

Dallas rapper Chris Henyard’s EP Fall Tapes, Vol. 1 is good for chilling out and vibing. It dropped December 4, his first EP following his recent album, The IG Collection. Fall Tapes Vol. 1 has mellow, chill lyricism over moody beats that speak to the emotions brought on by a rough year.

“Woke” on Hulu: Review

“When you assume the worst, you can’t be surprised when it actually happens.”

Woke

Series that mix animation or inanimate talking objects with real environments are usually something I avoid at all costs. I read the synopsis for “Woke” and thought no different.

I was scrolling through Twitter when I saw it as a trending promotion and read some of the tweets before watching the trailer. I was partly sold that it might be worth my time. Then I saw that it addressed the issues of police brutality and race in America, and I was really interested.
